Working Visit of Commission I of Biak DPRK Absorbs Residents’ Aspirations in Yenusi Village Following Village Head Election
Biak, Waironnews.com – Commission I of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRK) of Biak Numfor conducted a working visit to Yenusi Village, East of Biak District, on Wednesday (March 18, 2026), to gather public aspirations following the simultaneous village head election.
Chairman of Commission I of the Biak Numfor DPRK, Yohanes Amboki, stated that the visit aimed to obtain direct information from residents regarding the dynamics that occurred after the village head election held on December 10, 2025.
“We went directly to the village to hear the community’s aspirations, understand the real conditions on the ground, and identify issues arising after the simultaneous village head election,” Yohanes said.
He emphasized that the presence of Commission I is part of the DPRK’s oversight function to ensure that governance processes at the village level run in accordance with regulations, while maintaining stability and social harmony within the community.
During the approximately two-hour visit, the Chairman and members of Commission I engaged in direct dialogue with residents. Various aspirations and inputs were conveyed, particularly regarding social conditions and village governance following the election.
Commission I is committed to following up on all received aspirations as evaluation material and recommendations to the local government, in order to ensure that the situation in Yenusi Village remains conducive and that public services run optimally.
